May Volunteering

Attorney Sam Segal, continuing his dedication to giving back to the community, spent two recent afternoons volunteering.

On May 15, 2019, Attorney Segal went to the J F Condon Elementary School in Boston, MA to judge an 8th grade mock trial competition made possible by the Massachusetts Bar Association, iCivics, and the hard work of students and teachers at the school. The students presented both sides of a federal prosecution with Attorney Segal presiding as judge, and they did a fantastic job giving opening and closing statements, presenting the evidence, and arguing the law & rules of evidence.

Then, on May 21, 2019, Attorney Segal volunteered with the Massachusetts Bar Association Young Lawyers Division serving dinner at the Pine Street Inn men’s shelter near downtown Boston, MA. Pine Street Inn’s mission, providing meals and a safe place for people to sleep, is a fantastic contribution to the community, and Attorney Segal was proud to be a part of their mission.
