Atty Segal Judges Mock Trial Tournament

On Sunday, March 2, 2025, attorney Sam Segal served as a volunteer judge of the Massachusetts Bar Association's annual High School Mock Trial tournament hosted by Clark University in Worcester, MA. The Tournament featured over two dozen high school teams from across Massachusetts presenting opposing sides of a civil trial. Attorney Segal served as a volunteer judge for the competition, making rulings on evidentiary matters, hearing evidence, and rendering a decision in both the underlying case and the competition. The students were incredibly impressive, and we all hope they continue to nurture their interest in working for the rule of law and access to justice for all.

On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, attorney Sam Segal, together with Victoria Santoro, represented the Massachusetts Bar Association at the Massachusetts Court of Appeals to help prepare for the annual Appellate Bench Bar Conference. The Conference will bring together appellate judges, clerks, and practitioners to openly discuss the appellate system in Massachusetts and how to make it more efficient and better serve the needs of our residents.

Attorney Segal looks forward to continuing to volunteer his time to help increase access to justice and help the next generation thrive in a free and fair world.
